Community Kitchen
The Community Kitchen, located at Around the Sound Local Food Market, is on its way!
We still need volunteers to help with carpentry, installation and eventually dry-walling and painting. We need people to clean and organize and cheer us on. We needs donations of equipment, dishes, appliances and utensils. Canadian Tire money or Air Miles are also welcomed (to be redeemed to properly equip our kitchen). We also appreciate donations of cookbooks you no longer use for our continuing cookbook sale.

Projects to help with, Updated List:
-install stove venting
-plumbing (anyone know a plumber?)
-bathroom door, fix
-molding
-drywall sanding
-carpentry: base and supports under sink, install cupboards
-fix chairs
(Grant report needs to be done by March, so we need to get started on the above tasks a.s.a.p.)
Items still needed (Keep your eyes out at garage sales, etc!):
-dishes, cutlery, appliances, utensils
