Most of you will have heard that we can no longer use Donato's place for meetings and movies, as Donato has moved a few blocks. Big thanks to Donato Cianci for sharing his place and giving Transtition Durham a home for these start up month and for all the help with advertising and everything else !!
As for plans : Shane Snell is working hard on his slideshows to be shown soon we'll keep you posted about the dates. The downtown garden is still waiting to be decided on. Another spot has come to our attention which we can look at instead or for future planning. A small start will be made this year with a garden plot at my farm( not too far from town ) ideally this can be expanded but one issue with more land used is irrigation. There is more, but I am heading for Guelph as Transition Guelph is "unleashing" this weekend. ( wish we could use a train ) and am signing off. Cheers!
CORRECTION !!!!!!
The "Great Transition Slideshows" supposed to start on March 12 have been postponed to a later date, we will watch another interesting movie instead, to be announced soon. CORRECTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
