I too thought it was a great meeting.

I thought that it was a very nice collection of people with some great ideas and energy.

Will be very interesting to see where it can go from here.

Transition Towns, our first meeting in Walters Falls

Jan 6 2010, 3:20 AM

I wanted to thank everyone for an inspiring meeting.

One of the ideas that most excited me about tonight is the Transition Town idea of THE LAUNCH.

I think that even though it may seem preemptive, thinking in terms of LAUNCHES automatically turns all ideas into action plans, and gets us thinking in terms of deadlines, collaborations, press releases, the language we use to present our ideas, and the celebratory and cultural elements of the project. Ultimately, I see the LAUNCH as an inspiring and wholistic approach to fulfilling a project efficiently and with the maximum impact.

I'm VERY excited about upcoming meetings and THE GREAT RE-SKILLING!
