Event Description

A small group of farmers and gardeners in Grey-Bruce are trying to imagine a way to re-localize our vegetable, herb, and flower seed supply. We are hoping to recapture the lost skill and art of seed saving by creating a community network of growers interested in saving seeds for themselves and for others. We are looking for other experienced gardeners interested in creating a list of successfull cultivars for our region, and people willing to assist new seed savers. This will lead to a broader meeting in February inviting anyone excited about seeds.
